D.C. Temple & My 34 Week Belly

I was fortunate enough to attend the temple when these beautiful tulips were in full bloom. Andrew and I went back about 4 weeks later and they were all dead and in the process of planting new flowers. I love tulips and was so happy to see these beautiful flowers with the beautiful back drop of the temple.

Yes, baby and my belly are both growing so well. I am about 34 weeks at this time, which is about 8 1/2 months. Just a month and a half left!! Here are few different angles of me and my lovely little baby belly and of course the beautiful Washington D.C. Temple.



My pregnancy is still going great!! Not too many complaints. The baby is still growing healthy and strong and moves around all day. I think he might have had his first hiccups yesterday morning. Andrew and I love watching him move around in there. We are so fascinated by it all. We're starting our birthing classes tonight so we're excited to become a little more informed about this whole birthing process. I feel like we don't know anything so hopefully this will help.

Happy 3 Years To Us

Andrew and I just celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary. Boy how time flies by. Here are a few photos taken 3 years ago on this special day of May 13, 06, (except for the one on the beach of course). We have been so blessed in these past 3 years and have been able to experience many wonderful things together. I think the greatest of all is about to happen in about a month. We are so excited that we've been blessed with a precious little child to come into our lives. Our love has grown so strong in the past years and I know it will only continue to grow through time and as we experience the wonderful blessing of children. I am very grateful for my husband and all of his hard work and dedication not just in his job but also in striving to be a spiritual leader in our home.

My First Mother's Day

I flew home from New York early Mother's Day morning just in time for church. Little did I know Andrew was very excited for me to be home and to celebrate my first Mother's Day. He had flowers for me at home with my favorite mint chocolates. We then drove into D.C. and spent the day touring around the sites and visiting museums. We had a great time and saw lots of cool stuff. Needless to say my feet survived another day of walking around for hours. Thanks Andrew for making me feel so special on this Mother's Day even though I don't quite feel like a mother yet. Soon enough I'm sure.

I think I'm just over 32 weeks here so just passing through my eighth month. Wow time is flying by Soooo fast.

Viva New York

I was fortunate enough to get to fly up and hang out with Katelin and Allison for a few days in New York a week or so ago. We had a really great time hanging out on Long Island doing some shopping and playing with Katelin's old nanny kids. We also took one day in the city and toured around for a bit, then went to the musical In the Heights. It was wonderful! I must say though being eight months pregnant and walking around New York all day was quite taxing on the feetsies, they would have definitely loved a little rub. (I didn't take very many pics for some reason, so this is all I've got).

Happy Easter Day

I know this post may be coming a little late but I thought I would share with everyone our wonderful Easter Day and the colorful eggs we colored. We invited over all our friends and family who had made it out to Virginia so far for a nice Easter ham dinner and then we colored Easter eggs and played some Killer Bunnies! We had a lovely time.

Firts Trip to D.C.

We made it to Virginia in perfect time for the Cherry Blossom Festival in D.C. We knew nothing about this festival but our friend Sheila told us that between the last week in March and the first week in April is the only time during the whole year you can see the cherry blossoms, so we figured we had to go since we arrived to Virginia on April 3 we knew we didn't have much time left. It was a little crazy getting there with traffic but once we found a park it was well worth the wait. We were surprised to find the cherry blossoms were right in the midst of of all the major National sites or what most people call the National Mall. So we were excited to see all of these historic sites that we had only seen in the movies for so long. It was a gorgeous day and was so fun to hang out with friends and family and be a tourist for the day taking lots of pictures. We can thank Andrew for most of the pictures, he is becoming quite the photographer!!

























































As you can see our little boy is getting bigger and bigger. I am about 7 months in these pictures and definitely have the belly to prove it!
