More Summer Fun

We Love playing in summer rain!

Max is 9 months here and he started pulling himself up on everything

Merrick found his Halloween costume he wore when he was 4 months old and insisted he had to try it on.  This is the result

We took a family get away to Zions and enjoyed playing in the river for the day

Max and I took a little getaway to Salt Lake for the weekend and were lucky enough to stay at Jess and Parker's place.  Jess competed in a Triathlon at Utah Lake so we got to go catch the action.  I was so very impressed with Jess's performance.  Quite motivating!

Max is now 10 months!

Back to Cali

The boys and I headed back to California to stay with my dear friend Crystal Beazer and her beautiful 10 month old daughter Jadyn for the week. I was extremely nervous to trek 7 hours back to California by my self with the 2 kids but surprisingly they both did very well in the car for that long drive. Crystal showed us an amazing time and it was well worth the drive.

We went to Newport Beach one of the days. Merrick really loved the beach the week before so I would have felt bad being so close and not letting him go play again. It's a task with 2 kids at the beach without Andrew around but Crystal's husband Brandon took a day off to come and make it possible. Max loves to eat the sand and Merrick loves to play in the sand and chase birds and waves. It was a perfect day!

We spent many days in Crystal's backyard in the pool! As you can see it is a gorgeous pool with a super fun water slide. Merrick woke up every morning asking for "Water?"

The babies took turns pushing each other in this cute little shopping cart. Merrick pushed Jadyn and Jadyn pushed Max. Good times had by all!

Crystal took us to the Beach Club and it was fabulous. Everywhere needs a pool like this. It was a Huge pool like pond with sand surrounding the whole place and even goes into the water. It's fairly shallow the whole way around. Perfect place for kids.

Max was so exhausted after 2 weeks of traveling. He just crashed on the floor and had no desire to play with toys the day after we got home.

San Diego Trip

For Merrick's Birthday we decided to take him to California to play at the beach and go to the zoo rather than give him presents and a big birthday party, of course he got plenty of presents from his Grandparents and cousins. It also worked out that we went over the 4th of July. Merrick got these glasses for his birthday.

Merrick loved surfing with his Dad. He even had his first wipe out, but got right back up and wanted to go again and again.

Andrew got to go diving with Brent and he caught a halibut.
